KONARK TELECOM – Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and standards governing the use of services provided by KONARK TELECOM (“KONARK TELECOM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our network, systems, or services, you agree to comply with this policy and ensure that all users under your account adhere to these requirements.

1. Purpose of Policy

This AUP is designed to maintain the security, reliability, and performance of KONARK TELECOM’s infrastructure while promoting lawful, responsible, and ethical use of our services across all customers and partners.

2. Restricted and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use KONARK TELECOM services for any unlawful, abusive, or disruptive activity. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

a. Illegal or Harmful Use

Engaging in fraudulent activities, harassment, threats, or distribution of illegal or harmful content through our services.
 

b. Spam and Unauthorized Communications

Sending unsolicited bulk messages, robocalls, phishing campaigns, or misleading marketing communications.
Using our platform to originate or facilitate spam traffic is strictly prohibited.
 

c. Network Misuse or Interference

Attempting to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of networks, systems, or services.
This includes denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, traffic flooding, or activities that negatively impact other users.
 

d. Improper Telecom Usage

Involvement in toll bypass, SIM boxing, unauthorized routing, caller ID manipulation, or call fraud.
Any misuse of voice or messaging services that violates telecom regulations or impacts service quality is not allowed.
 

e. Unauthorized Access

Attempting to gain access to systems, accounts, or data without proper authorization, whether belonging to KONARK TELECOM or third parties.

f. Misrepresentation or Identity Abuse

Impersonating individuals or organizations, or providing false or misleading identity or affiliation information.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are fully responsible for all usage associated with their account. This includes ensuring that employees, partners, and end users comply with this policy. You agree to:

  • Protect account credentials and access information

  • Implement safeguards to prevent misuse

  • Monitor account activity for suspicious behaviour

  • Report any security incidents or violations promptly

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

KONARK TELECOM reserves the right to monitor service usage to ensure compliance with this policy. In case of violations, we may take appropriate action, including:

  • Investigating suspected misuse

  • Issuing warnings or requiring corrective action

  • Suspending or terminating services

  • Limiting access to specific features or traffic

  • Taking legal action where necessary

Immediate action may be taken without prior notice in cases involving fraud, security threats, or regulatory risks.

5. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including telecommunications, data protection, and privacy regulations when using our services.

6. Policy Revisions

KONARK TELECOM may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
